I got some free tickets to a BYU football game, so my roommate, Serena, and I went. It was fun, but by half time we were frozen. At first I thought I was bad luck because we were not doing so good. Then we beat New Mexico!!! After the game we got a picture with Cosmo at the Victory Bell. I guess this is the life of a college student, but I could have done without the cold.

Here is a digital story that I had to do for my technology class. It isn't a great recording because I was in my classroom with everyone else.

So I should tell you all a funny story. Just over a week ago, as I was at work, I had to run upstairs to change the orange soda. Our upstairs is kind of like an attic with pipes and air ducts everywhere. Well, as I was looking at the ground to watch what I was stepping over, I forgot to look up. I ran straight into a metal air duct and got a nice bump on my forehead. I'm glad that I was wearing my dorky Creamery hat because I could have had a nice gash on my forehead. The bump went down with the help of ice and motrin. I only had a red mark the next couple days. Yeah for no bruising!!! Here are some pictures of my roommates and myself. I like how we all have a different hair color. We are a little crazy at times, and even more crazy when taking pictures!

(Mike is the guy on the right.) Today I found out that a friend from work died this morning from a car accident. It makes me realize that you never know when it is your time to leave the earth. Mike Hess just got married a month ago. He was a great guy to work with and he always made me happy. He was always smiling even when everything was going wrong at work. He was just full of life. His death made me think of how grateful I am for my family and friends. It also taught me that I need to live my life to its fullest and enjoy the time that I do have here. I hope you all know how much I love you and I am so thankful for the bonds we have created.

My roommates are Kate and Serena. They are both from Washington too. We just became new roommates, and we are already having some good "girl-bonding time." We were supposed to be going to bed, but instead we played around in Kate's closet!

I am now learning how to be more technologically savvy. Since the start of this new semester I have bought a web cam , started a blended online class, posted on blackboard, joined Gmail , and now I am starting this blog. Sometimes I do not feel like I have a lot to share on things like this, and that is why I haven't started blogging until now. I hope that I can keep you all updated on my life as a student!
