July 2018: Independence Day... seriously, I went to a conference by myself and celebrated independence.
July 4th was a busy day. We woke up in Blanding, dressed in our patriotic clothes and walked down to main street for the parade. 7/4/18 This was the first time the twins understood that by running out onto the street, they could get free candy... and Dad would only eat about half of it. Why do we teach our kids to run into the road for candy?! Melissa's friend Nikki, riding a unicorn in a tutu. Then, by dinner time we were in Utah County at Josh and Mandy's house for a BBQ and water fights. Busy day! And "catching up" with family. We said good night right as the fire works started. The twins hadn't napped, we had a 6 week old, and Melissa hadn't napped.
