March 11th...A drive through the country to the seaside.

When I thought of England, it wasn't the big city of London that my heart desired to see, it was the country and seaside.  We took a day off of touring London, and went for a day drive with Auntie Monica.  We were headed for Brighton Pier, but Monica drove the scenic route to get there.  I was in Love!  The trees and fields were beautiful, along with the beautiful homes.     As we were driving, Monica mentioned that the London Temple was nearby, and it was only about a block away.  We had to drop by, but didn't go in since we weren't appropriately dressed for the temple.  This is the temple where Andy's parents were sealed for all eternity.  We were very glad that we were able to see it.  We dropped by the visitors center and visited with some of the missionaries about the history of the temple.              Back on the road.  The houses with the thatched ...

March 10th. A day in Greenwich and a night at the theatre.

March 10th was wonderful... much like each day of our trip. We started in Ealing Broadway, Mum and my Aunties old stomping ground.  We needed to do a little souvenir shopping, which ended up as a quite successful trip. FYI, Primark is the K-mart of England. Really cheap and a little bit of everything.   Andy is a pharmacist and this was one of the million Chemist's shoppes we passed... they are everywhere.   Melissa and Auntie Glyn, just a couple of locals.   On our way to Greenwich we stopped to see some of the Olympic grounds from the London Olympics.  They designed much of the park as removable and reusable so most of it is gone or is being repurposed (pretty smart).     This was a day of varied transit.
