January 2026 Sunshine, exploration and a return to basketball.
Jan 1, 2026 - Thursday a new year and a new game. The kids all received some tiny Lego challenge games, with minimal pieces, build a such and such. Homeschool tech class. My earbud case had been acting funny, so Finn and I opened it and resoldered the broken battery leads. Funny situation, I hadn't used a soldering iron in at least a year or two, then ended up with 3 projects in as many weeks. I won't always have a Finn to hold the needle nose pliers, maybe we need a soldering station. Jan 3 - Saturday, Hannah finished my birthday-Christmas-New Year present! She crotched this scarf for me/us. Jan 8 - Thursday, Finn started his basketball season. He played 2 games per week for the month of January. He says he enjoyed it and wants to play again next season, but as I write it is April, and he hasn't dribbled a ball since the season ended. Jan 10 - Saturday. We used to have two Powerwheels cars.
