Oh boy is parenting exhausting!  Melissa and the kids in a rare moment of peace.  No, the babies didn't bed share.  They just happened to get moved from their beds into our bed while I was getting ready for the day.  They hadn't learned to roll yet. Some great faces for mom as she tries to get pictures during outside tummy time. A little dude in his Winnie the Pooh jammies Everyone in Pooh jammies. Finley thinks there are too many girls around. Melissa has a super weird spine. An extra vertebral body, scoliosis and pinched nerves.  She seems to manage pretty well though with a trip to the chiropractor once or twice each month.  When the kids were little the chiropractors wife/front desk employee was nice enough to watch them during Melissa's sessions. Sitting up on the couch.    Bumbos are horrible and uncomfortable, don't you think? Watching the Rio Olympics with mom Melissa's birthday 8/10/16.  I plan...

For July 4th weekend we had quite the group of visitors. Trisha and Jeremy came with their kids, Mark and Chrissy, and Keith and Darlene all came to spend some time with us.   Eli was such a gentle cousin with the twins.  He seemed to really like spending time with them. We went to Bluff Fort and the Freys had fun playing "pioneer" Ava, watching TV... I mean watching Hannah. Pinterest had the bright idea to use our children as paint brushes in creating 4th of July clothing. Here Finley is being subjected to "blue foot" by his mother and Uncle Jeremy. Hannah received the same treatment, substitute Uncle Mark. The foot prints are to become the blue field for a flag shirt. Uncle Jeremy double timing his uncle duties. S'mores time on July 3rd night.
