March 2026 Sand, Sun, Birthday and Faith.

March 2 Monday - Melissa modeling her new crochet t-shirt.  

March 5 Thursday- Melissa and the kids were bored with the Number house remodel so they started remodeling the doll house. 

March 8 Sunday - Kind of a weird Sunday afternoon activity, cutting the old doll house windows to make French doors. 

March 12 Thursday - Hannah was a clerk in the elementary school Mary Poppins musical.  They had three performances and she really enjoyed it. 

March 16 Monday - Melissa and the kids went to Cottonwood Wash several times this spring and really enjoyed the sunshine and water.

March 17 Tuesday - St Patrick's Day homeschool celebration.

March 19 Thursday - The kids joined an Animal Science class online. Finn made an under water scene, including his shark car.  

Hannah made a forest with foxes, fish and trees. 

Lily's had adult and baby tigers, koala, and a boarder collie. Not sure where in this world is. 

March 19 Thursday - Back at Cottonwood Wash again. Melissa and the kids spent hours there each time, sometimes with friends and sometimes alone.  They had a great time. 

March 21 Saturday - Birthday time!  The twins are wearing their birthday shirts from Aunt Trisha as the get ready for their party with friends.

March 22 Sunday - Sunday Birthday dinner with Grandma!  

March 23 Monday - REAL BIRTHDAY!  Hot dog and marshmallow roast!  With this being the third "birthday party," we sure were happy they decided on something simple. 

March 26 Thursday - The stake put on a walkthrough to prepare for Holy Week. 

March 29 Sunday - The Noyes family came to spend the night with us during their spring break. We're playing the Trogdor board game. 

March 30 Monday - Goodbye after a wonderful night. 

March 31 Tuesday - Melissa and Maci's activity day girls made dessert tombs to celebrate Easter.

My Engagement Story

In order to tell the story of our engagement, I will have to first tell you the story of our first date. For those of you who don't know, Andy and I were set up on a blind date by my Aunt Mary and Uncle Fred (more Mary). We met on August 27th when he picked me up for our date. Andy was well prepared for our first date. He planned on going up to canyon for a picnic and walking around the falls. He even had picked up some yummy sandwiches, but I didn't know about that then. Well, it happened to be raining that day, so he gave me the option of going to this authentic pizza place. I chose that plan since it was raining. We went to the pizza place where I ate pizza with corn on it for my first time. After dinner he started driving me back home, and then he noticed that it had stopped raining. Today I went and got myself a roommate! It is a lot smaller and takes up very little space. It is also a male! This little blue beta fish is in need of a name. The only thing that keeps going through my head is "1 fish, 2 fish, red fish, blue fish," and that is not a name. I would love any ideas on what I can name this cute, little guy.

My New Car

For the past few months I have been thinking about getting a car.  I now have to drive to work, but my Firebird won't get out of the driveway when it snows.  I almost bought a car in August, but then decided that it wasn't the right one.  I also knew that I would need to get a Utah driver's license if I wanted cheaper insurance, so yesterday I decided to go get a new license.  By the way, a few years ago I swore I would not move to Utah.  Now I am actually licensed in Utah. Well, on the way back from getting my license, I decided to go look at some cars.  I wasn't planning on buying one because Uncle Bob was going to come with me to get one.  Well, I drove a 2006 Toyota Corolla S, and I loved it.  They gave me a good deal.  I did call Bill, Tracy and Bob just to make sure it was a good deal.  They also offered me a good trade in value for the Firebird.  I left Ken Garf Honda 4 hours later with a new, sporty car.  I think this car was meant for me because everything work...
