11/3 - Congratulations, its a baby! (Due: May 29th, 2018) Finn getting a haircut.  They keep quiet during his haircuts, because they get to watch a show on the iPad.  I do the same thing when Melissa cuts my hair. I think this was the first time he got clippers. Building fine motor skills, and a tower.  Just a cute kid we found in our photo album. 11/10 - Halfway through November, shades and jackets mean you can ride ALL DAY.  Or at least for 30 minutes or so. Alphabet lessons in the tub.  11/16 - Finn fell at Lynette's house and his eye landed on a bush.  Hannah is learning to climb the drawbridge on her backyard fort. 11/22 - Sometimes when it is "too quiet," that can be a good thing.  Just sitting together reading books, in Minion hats.  11/23 - Her very own plate of Thanksgiving pie.  This year I was on call for the hospital, so we stayed in Blanding and celebrated Thanksgiving with the Stevens'.  ...

10/30 - We're home! Time to get ready for Halloween. Well, we've been home for a while, but it is time to carve pumpkins.  Carve them with PAINT! Too tiny for knives.  We bought a 2 kid back seat for the Rhino while in Lindon before the big trip, and before learning that we were having a 3rd kid. Bolted it in and went for a quick ride.  10/30 - Minions for Halloween, at the ward trunk or treat. Lucy and Gru with their minions, from Despicable Me 2 End of a long night of Halloweening, at 6:40 PM

While staying with Jormanda for a few days, we kept reminding Amanda, "We just want to relax, Melissa is exhausted."  We ended up having a great time.  Hanging out with the kids in the evenings and seeing a couple of fun local items. Amanda had some big commitments (a city wide interfaith choir concert) and the boys were all in school so we got to just be a part of life.  I even made dinner 2 nights for the family and we all enjoyed games and Nerf guns. 10/14 We went to a fall festival featuring a scarecrow festival. The kids recognized this one. We spent a few hours looking around, ate lunch and visited a candy shop.  Then it was back home for play.  We think Hannah enjoyed it, even if that is the scariest crusty ever.  Finn had fun with the chickens. On the 15th we went to a big kids play park.  This castle was 4-5 stories and had lots of fun toys and passages.  "Why does she always get to drive?" thought Hannah. ...

October 9-13 Finger Lakes, NY through New Haven, CT. On our own

After Niagara Falls we headed east. We stayed 2 nights on a Christmas Tree farm in Hemlock, NY.  It was a small apartment on top of a barn.  We saw lots of fun stuff around.  The weather was a little overcast and rainy 10/9 so we had a slow morning then headed to an airplane museum.  Captain Finster J Bayless (The Flying Burger) made ACE almost immediately. While Hannah was one of the few women admitted to the combat ranks of the Aircorp. The kids saw lots of airplanes, Jeeps and equipment.  They were able to play on much of it and sit in some neat airplanes.  Back at the Christmas Tree farm, we got to know the fish in the ponds. They had fish food and the kids enjoyed watching them eat. We explored the fields (in the wet grass) and Melissa loved it! The 10th was sunny and dry.  So we hit the road.  We saw some beautiful scenery.  We visited the Joseph Smith farm and Sacred Grove.  Umm... it was nice, we had a p...
