While staying with Jormanda for a few days, we kept reminding Amanda, "We just want to relax, Melissa is exhausted." We ended up having a great time. Hanging out with the kids in the evenings and seeing a couple of fun local items. Amanda had some big commitments (a city wide interfaith choir concert) and the boys were all in school so we got to just be a part of life. I even made dinner 2 nights for the family and we all enjoyed games and Nerf guns.

| 10/14 We went to a fall festival featuring a scarecrow festival. The kids recognized this one. |
| We spent a few hours looking around, ate lunch and visited a candy shop. |
| Then it was back home for play. We think Hannah enjoyed it, even if that is the scariest crusty ever. |
| Finn had fun with the chickens. |
| On the 15th we went to a big kids play park. This castle was 4-5 stories and had lots of fun toys and passages. |
| "Why does she always get to drive?" thought Hannah. |
| They weren't happy when it was time to go home, after a full hour of run around. |
| 10/16 - Our last day in town Melissa decided she just needed to stay home and rest. So Jordan and I took the littles on a train ride. |
| It was quite a success. |
We had an awesome vacation! Even as bad as Melissa felt, she enjoyed it. As difficult as it is to travel with kids, it is worth it. They loved seeing their cousins, Aurich and Bayless, and we always love spending time with Jordan and Amanda. Their family is very welcoming and let you feel right at home.
