9/7/18: Not sure why, but Melissa started out September 2018 looking particularly cute. Then we went to the Hogle Zoo. September 15th, 2018 we went to the Zoo with Heather and Josh and Mandy's kids. Finn and Colt checking out some animals. Cousins crowded in for a better view. Merry-go-round with dad. Bear time. Siblings.  Heather had the blessing of a flat stroller tire.  She had to have the kids ride lopsided to balance the flat tire. These lion head fountains are special.  From my childhood and pharmacy school days.  Can't go to the zoo without stopping for a sip from the lions tongue.  Gross. Quite the troop. Then on the 16th we saw even more cousins! Hannah was very quickly just "one of the girls." Snuggles are the best. 9/20/18: On my birthday Melissa made me a Firefly cake. 9/23/18: Lilian learned to be cute for her 4 month birthday. Looking good at nursery. 9/26/18: Learning to sit up, kin...

8/1/18: Welcome to summer fool! 8/3/18: Packed up for a rhino ride. Up to the 4th Reservoir. Three little binky babies! 8/10/18: Happy Birthday Melissa! Finn has hand, foot and mouth disease!  Cancel the party! I planned a surprise party and midway through the day Melissa sent me this picture.  Ergh! Kids are the best, except when you want to make time sensitive plans involving other people. Luckily the twins recovered quickly, and didn't spread it.  Melissa is always willing to give up on her own fun to help our kids and keep other kids healthy. I had picked up this cake from Goulding's Grocery in Monument Valley.  I'm writing this blog in June 2020 and this Ariel decoration, just got thrown away because she finally lost her tale. 8/17/18: Teddy Bear clinic at the clinic/hospital.  We turned the corner just in time to see the emergency helicopter fly away. 8/19/18: A newborn's mother found the time to dress up!  Somebody tak...

July 2018: Independence Day... seriously, I went to a conference by myself and celebrated independence.

July 4th was a busy day.  We woke up in Blanding, dressed in our patriotic clothes and walked down to main street for the parade. 7/4/18 This was the first time the twins understood that by running out onto the street, they could get free candy... and Dad would only eat about half of it. Why do we teach our kids to run into the road for candy?!   Melissa's friend Nikki, riding a unicorn in a tutu. Then, by dinner time we were in Utah County at Josh and Mandy's house for a BBQ and water fights. Busy day! And "catching up" with family. We said good night right as the fire works started.  The twins hadn't napped, we had a 6 week old, and Melissa hadn't napped.  So we headed to Nana and Granddad's.  7/5/18: Then we lost a child in the hollyhocks in the front yard. 7/6/18: Aunt Belle got to hold Lilian for the first time. We had Lilian's blessing July 7th and we were able to get most of the family together. Even...
