Tis the Season in 2009
This is my Family Home Evening group. We took Christmas pics.
The girls did crafty projects while the boys played video games, and the kids just ran wild!
Kiera and Ava have an interesting relationship. They love playing with each other, but they also love fighting over things. I think I heard the word "mine" over a hundred times in just a few days. No joke!
Ava and I in Portland. We went to look at lights one cool night. It wasn't has great as we heard it was going to be, but we had fun nonetheless.
Okay, these pictures are all jumbled up, and I am sick of trying to drag them in the right order. If you are a facebook friend, then you might have already seen these pictures. I really enjoyed my break. It was especially nice to go home and see my family. I miss them, and I hate how I am so far away from everyone. The funny thing is that Washington didn't feel like home anymore, but I have lived in Utah longer than I lived there. It didn't help that my parents now have missionaries living in my old room. Being in Utah for 3 years has made this feel more like home. I will probably stay here for a couple of years. The job market for teachers is a little better here, and I hope to have an in with this internship.
Now I have been back from my break for almost 2 weeks now. My third graders actually seemed to miss me. They have even been better behaved since the break, and I thought they were supposed to be horrible after the break. I am enjoying being back with them, but I still look forward to my 3-day weekend! Hmmm...what to do for three days. Maybe I should work on my Teachers Work Sample that is due next month, but I probably won't.
Well, I just feel like I am rattling on now, so I will go. Sorry it took me forever to update my blog. I just don't feel that I have tons of interesting things going on. I will try to do better!
