The rest of March and April 2014
Melissa and I chose to divide and conquer one weekend. Melissa's cousin, Rob, married his longtime girl Miranda in Draper and my coworker got married in Monument Valley.
Melissa enjoyed getting to see her family.
And even got to be Uncle Dale's wedding date for the day.
Awww... curly cousins!
The grandmothers of the groom.
Before my wedding in Monument Valley a friend helped me dispose of Melissa's old computer. Thank you Fred Talker.
For much of the late winter and early spring Melissa and I worked together on the Gun Room. We replaced blue carpet with laminate, put on baseboards, painted, wired for sound and video, did crown molding, refinished ceiling fans, and turned a 60 year old gun crate into a coffee table.
I like the new Gun Room. The guns are currently put away in locked cases. My brother James is going to make some decorative metal doors for the bottom left rack.
Due to our no good, very bad grass and second year of draught we decided to replace a section of grass with a low water, dog tolerant grass. We went about it all wrong, we tilled up the old grass instead of killing it and planting the new plugs through it.
Random spring snow storm and Zoe the cyborg.
Melissa and a mysterious ninja.
