5/26/15 Mussenden Temple, Downhill Demesne, Hezlet House, (London)Derry Lunch and Shopping, Beltany Stone Circle, Slieve League. Wow, try saying that 5 times fast... or doing it in 1 day. Busy bunch.

Leaving the best B&B of the trip. Heather, our hostess, was wonderful.

Grandma Flick isn't short, she is just traditional. The doors in these ancient buildings were made for her.

I'm not quite the sheep whisperer that I'd hoped.  I couldn't catch a single one.

Great scenery.

The Mussenden Temple on another cliff.

Yeah, I took Melissa to the temple on this trip too.

View from the temple windows.

Mind the gap!

A neat old house that fell into disrepair after it was used as barracks in WWII.

On the front entry.

The doors were not made for me at Hezlet House.

This house reminded me of home. Not the foot thick thatch...

but the shoddy workmanship.  Who built this place!?

Melissa was excited for the nursery.

The thatched gazebo.

Bright orange today, still not getting lost.

PUB!  I NEED FOOD! We wandered through a shopping center in (London)Derry with a M&S and a few other stores then stopped for lunch.

Fish & Chips or Spicy Beef Pastas all around.

WE FOUND ONE!!!! A bonbon shop in Derry.  The shopkeeper was amazed at our little sack of bonbons.  Little did he know this was just one stop.

On the road again...

The touch it, feel it, explore it stone circle.

And Melissa accidently got sacrificed. She was hiding from the cold wind blowing through this clearing.

Bob exploring off the beaten path.

Melissa thinks this is a pretty good sheep picture.

Must be cold, he's still wearing his winter coat.

Welcome to the tallest sea cliffs in Ireland. Slieve League/Cliffs of Bunglass

Cold and giant, the cliffs, not me.

Proof that we visited Slieve League before it was cool.  They are building a visitors center and large parking lot and other improvements.  Glad we came before it was commercialized and costly.

These sheep would stand right on the road until your car came close, then jump off "the cliff."  Luckily the cliff was only 5 feet tall, but they landed on a very steep hillside.  On the drive up we stopped and tried to call a little lamb over to the car, we were shocked when it instead turned and jumped off.  We had no idea it was just a short drop at that time.
