Back in line. Fall 2015 (October and November)

Started the month with work weekend at Grandma Flick's cabin.  We invited Mason and Kati Lyman down with us.  Lots of clean up and a couple sessions of conference later and we hit the trails.

Too much food for lunch, because Grandma.

Getting ready to head out, here's hoping for no truck accidents this year.

Erin and Lainey enjoyed the wild outdoors.

Dale and Helga brought their horse Valentine with them, she was a fun distraction.  Especially when she escaped and we had to go horse chasing.

Getting ready to roll out.  Clean up weekend is always too short!

The Lyman's had fun.

Goodbye Grandma/Great Grandma to that baby bump!

The first two steps to Melissa's costume.  Thing 1 and 2 in the belly, and the source of their naturally blue hair.  Pretty gorgeous blue haired lady, don't you think?

Spooky Halloween decorations! Plus a Zoe zombie!

Alton Brown's soft pretzel recipe, look it up, because they are delicious!  Spreadable cheese dip made by running cheddar and water in the food processor.  Add a little onion powder or garlic to kick the cheese up a notch.

We made a cat in the hat pumpkin set because we were Cat in the Hat and Melissa was the mother of Thing 1 and Thing 2. Here we are at the Church Trunk or Treat.

November 2015
Guess what we're having?!?! A garbage bag full of baby boy and a nice bag full of girl.

Look at all those clothes!  Better get them some closet space!  Took a left over shelf from our master bath remodel and put it in the middle of the nursery closet.  Then we added baseboard, painted, hung curtains, put up cribs, a chest of drawers, animal decorations and thought it was just about right for the babies.

So what did we do to celebrate the genders? Took the babies to the gun range of course.
The Lyman's came along, their girls stayed in the car to watch.

Pumpkins and junk, prepare to explode under the merciless wrath of Andy and Mason.

and Melissa and the twins!

Then, on to some more traditional baby celebrations. Grandma Clift sent Melissa this baby blanket a while ago from material Melissa chose.  Well, turned out one Grandma Clift blanket wasn't going to be enough.  Melissa ended up sending some coral animal print material and Grandma put together another blanket later.

Thanksgiving at Nana and Grand-dad's.  Let us begin with "We didn't play test this at all!" just about the correct level for playing with the

Sisters-in-law.

"Hey, give me that food!!" is probably what I was saying. Andy, Avery, Nana, Indy, and Jon.

Floor time! Pretty sure that is Jon stuck under that blanket.  Qwirkle Cubes.

PIE! Nana, Indy, Jon and James

Melissa had her Bayless baby shower while in Lindon this weekend. Lindsey, Chevon, Mandy, and Jeanette threw a great shower.  There were tons of yummy snacks and treats. Here is my cousin Katie with her daughters.  Aunt Mary Clift was the photographer.
