December 2016: The Traveling Continues

We drove down the coast to Santa Monica, where Andy had a UCLA Diabetes Conference.  We arrived the 1st of December and left on the 4th.  The conference was for 2 days.  It was hard to keep the kids entertained in the hotel, but they loved it when we took walks on the boardwalk.
Hannah woke up from her nap early, so Andy took her out to visit the hotel pool and patio.  While out there they took a few sunset selfies.

Finley woke up just minutes later, and we were taking sunset selfies from the room.

The next day we stopped at the playground and swung for awhile.  This swing was made for twins!

I took a long walk with them one day, and missed Andy visiting us during lunch time. We got back to the room, just as he was headed back to his conference.  We did have time to share a dessert though.

But we had fun putting our feet in the sand.

Sunset pictures are the best.

On the 4th we decided to head home, but we stopped in Vegas for a couple of days. Our first stop was to see the Hedger family (Tiffany, Doug, and Kedrick).  He was my bishop in my first singles ward and helped get me on a mission.  They were a major blessing in my life.

Then we went to the timeshare that Dad and Darlene set up for us.  They brought dinner to us since they were canning at their house.

The next day we stopped by to see my old friend, Kim Miller.  She even did a mini Christmas photoshoot for us.

Then we went to the Magical Forest.  It was near our old home in Vegas, and I used to go here when I was younger.  It is a lot bigger than it used to be.  We loved all the lights!

We also met up with my old friend, Renee'.  I used to babysit her kids.

Back home in time for the UNHS Christmas party.

 Our tree is set up!
I bought this dress for my niece, Ava.  Mya also wore it.  Hannah got to wear it a couple of times.

Finley just happy to be standing.

Hannah loves her daddy!

Storm Poopers...I mean troopers.
We left our house again to go to Christmas with the Bayless family in Lindon.  Zoe was happy to be included in this trip.

Christmas morning with our little family.  They got to open their stockings before church.

Later, the rest of the Bayless families came over.  There was a bit of a delay when James and family got into an accident by sliding on the icy roads.  We were just grateful they were all okay.

The kids were happy to unwrap more presents.

They loved all their new presents, but may have been a bit overwhelmed by it all.

The kids at 9 months.  The photos were taken a few days late because we were away.

They all love to hang out on the window seat back at home.

12/30/16 Hannah was learning to move around, but she mainly could only scoot backwards.  That is how she ended up under the couch.

Zoe running around the shop in the snow. Oh, yeah, we bought a travel trailer from my dad while in Vegas.

For New Years Eve we ate out at Patio.

Here are the Christmas photos that Kim took of us in Las Vegas.

I love my little angels!
