The rest of December 2017. Travel and Christmas.

On our way north for the winter, I mean Christmas.  We stopped in Moab for lunch and leg stretches.  The kids really liked this park, but we ended up getting in trouble with Moab "Code Enforcement" for having a dog off leash. Especially, "a dog like that."  I think he was commenting on Zoe being a German Shephard, not on her being a loving, kind animal who lives with and plays with two 2 year olds.

12/21 - Yay! Airports are fun.  On the way to Washington.

Our ward bishop's son was serving in Melissa's mom's stake.  So we took him some Christmas presents from people in town. Elder Nielson, on the right.

12/23/17 we were all getting a little cabin fever at Grandma Workman's, so we went to the church and rode bikes and played games.

Finley was very popular with his cousins.  Probably because he is actually social enough to interact with others.

I think Hannah might have been planning to steal Christmas with that Grinch smile.

Spoiler Alert!! That bump is Lilian. 12/24/17

Christmas morning, pre-presents, with cousin and jammies.

Finley loved spending time with his cousin Eli, because he thinks big kids are the best.

And, post-presents madness.

Didn't snow at home in Utah, but they got several inches in Washington.  Finley in jammies, tennis shoes and a minion hat. He was helping shovel snow for the snowman.

I love this lady, even if she drags me all over the country in bad weather.

Hannah was pretty happy with the snow storm.

"Leaf beard," the snowman.

12/26 - Brian the proud uncle, not everyone is able to get snuggles with Hannah.

Back in Utah 12/27. We stopped for "Christmas 2" with Nana and Granddad.

Finley helping Granddad open presents.

Nana deserved some extra snuggles, because she hurt her arm.

And I deserved a penguin attack. Nana got the penguin hat from a genealogy conference, so she made me a trio of homemade penguins to go with it.

12/28/2017 Home at last. Nothing as good as your own couch. This was the beginning of cyclical sicknesses for the next 3 months.
