February 2018, a "babymoon" and regular, wonderful, life

Feb 2, 2018: Melissa planned a surprise babymoon.  The last getaway before the baby comes.  This also happened to be the first getaway since the twins came. She took me to Midway, and I found a dairy. It was SO hard to choose which cheeses to buy.  They had a 6 year old white cheddar. It was awesome, I miss it now that it is gone.

You can't even tell she's pregnant, might as well be a photo from the first two days of our honeymoon.

Great food at Wildfire Smokehaus and Zermat's.  The trip was wonderful.  We didn't realize how much we missed each other.  The twins stayed with Nana and Granddad, and I'm pretty sure we didn't think about them until the 2nd day when we both said, "I haven't thought about the kids in a day, its great!"

Melissa took me to the Ice Castles too.

Feb 4: Hannah ended up starting an ear infection during the trip, but that just made her snuggly. Savanna and Marissa stayed the night to help take care of the twins.

A couple days home and the sickness in full swing.  Poor girl couldn't even focus enough to eat.

Feb 23: A couple weeks later and she was back to full force, in time for a picnic in the backyard.

Melissa takes the twins to story hour at the library most Wednesdays.  They get some socialization and, this week, crowns.
