October 2018 Rental house work and Halloween.

10/2/18: I guess we aren't fully potty trained yet. Pretty sure this was Finn's, maybe that's why he wasn't so happy about the photo with his first "in the potty." He knew he wasn't going to be an exclusive "in the potty" kind of guy for a long time to come.

10/8/18: Lilian is starting to try solids, aka, spitting stuff on mom at each meal.

10/9/18: Helping to decorate for Halloween.

Lilian preparing for Halloween, spooking herself out.

10/13/18: Front half of the unit is getting close to ready.  Tools are all staged in the craft room, getting ready to move back home.

10/20/18: Hitting the mountain for a picnic outing.  Fall in San Juan is wonderful.  It is nice and mild for weeks and weeks.

Melissa and an over bundled Lilian.

The intrepid explorers.

10/22/18: Five months and still cute!

10/24/18: 3 kids and 2 swings won't be all smiles for long.

10/29/18: The first Halloween of the season. Sebastian, the crab, Prince Eric, Princess Ariel, Flounder...

10/30/18: And the EVIL SEA WITCH!  Melissa made the children cry.  They weren't happy about her hair and makeup.

The USU Halloween fair was fun for the kids and great to see them interact with the public.  I'm writing this blog on July 5th, 2020.  In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We haven't been to sacrament meeting as a ward in over 3 months, we wear masks at the grocery store and at work, and the twins have started repeating back, "because of the sickness," as the reason that we can't do certain activities any more.  Just seeing these photos at the Halloween carnival really put our current situation into perspective... well, back to the past.

Flounder wasn't as big a fan of the large crowd, but remained quite a trooper.

10/30/18: Melissa made cupcakes for the ward party.  I think she did a pretty good job!
