November 2018 A busy travel month, Arizona through Oregon.

11/2/18: Melissa bought me DateBox for my birthday a while back and every once in a while they were really great.  This one had us painting using water colors.

Glad to see the Halloween costumes are still getting used a few days later. What cute Mer-people.

11/9/18: I had a conference in Flagstaff in early November so we decided to make a weekend of it to visit Grandma Flick.  I spent a full day learning about anticoag, while Melissa and the kids had fun playing with Grandma.

Cute girl.

11/10/18: The next day we went out in Uncle Dale's Humvees.  Dale has bought several surplus Humvees and done upgrades and repairs.  We drove some very mild dirt roads, but it was lots of fun.  The kids had a blast.

Uncle Dale and his wife Susan and his son Jason and his girlfriend Jessica.

Then lots of Dale's kids came over for dinner and game night.  Hannah and Finn had so much fun playing in the backyard with their 2nd cousins.  Chasing and tackling the big kids made them so happy.

Back home 11/12/18 for Lilian's first haircut

Then a stop over at Nana's 11/17/18 on the way to Thanksgiving at the beach house. I guess Lilian didn't like her haircut, so she's wearing a pea pod.

11/18/18: Stopping in Idaho on the way, cute house centrally located. It was a very long day on the road and there were only 2 chairs in the kitchen so Finn sat the cooler and I got to stand.

11/20/18: A night at Trish and Jeremy's for stories from Mya before we headed to the coast.
The night before we headed to the beach, Lilian started vomiting.  She wouldn't keep anything down and we were worried. We hoped it was just the fishy Troutdale water.  We went to a local instacare before heading to Seaside in the morning. It had been 18 hours and they told us something to the effect of "oh... well, if it continues... go to an ER, don't come back here."

11/21/18: Crabbing with Uncle Jeremy in Seaside.

Some children are naturally more photogenic.

Photos with Grandma 11/22/18, Thanksgiving day!.  Lilian is feeling much better... and the rest of us are blissfully unaware what is about to descend upon our Airbnb.

Don't we look so relaxed, enjoying a few minutes on the beach.  That evening our house (Trish's family and ours) came down with Lilian's bug.  Lots of GI distress and we spent the next 2 days eating crackers and isolating from the rest of the family. Nothing like being sick away from home!

11/23/18: Melissa went back up to Wayne and Stephanie's to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Clift, the rest stayed in the car to reduce the risk of sharing our stomach bug.

It kind of wiped Melissa out.

On the way home we stopped for dinner at some family style restaurant.  I think the food was good, but the entertainment was top notch.  First and best rocking pig we'd ever ridden.
