Time away from Andy...July 2015

    During the month of July, I lived with my in-laws while doing fertility treatments.  This meant I was away from home and Andy for a few weeks.  Before I left, Blanding had some stormy days.  Zoe loved her "Thunder Shirt."  It helps her feel safe, but I think she just does better when we are home with her during a thunder storm.  She normally jumps over our 6 foot fence during a storm.  She probably is trying to run away from it, but doesn't realize that it is everywhere.     The storms helped my keyhole garden and the weeds around it to grow.     When I went to Lindon, I got to hang out with Lindsey's (my mother-in-law) horses (Dakota and Kaylee) quite a bit.  They are a little weary of new people, so I worked on them getting used to me.  After a few days they trusted me a little more.  I even helped feed them and brush them.  It was a dream come true.  Someday I'll have my o...

July 5-8, 2015 A little more time on the coast, then back to Seattle.

    7/5 Sunday, family church and a lazy day. Melissa and Trisha are sisters... but Trisha has a kissier face.   Brian and Jeremy are brothers in law... with HUGE heads which don't fit standard sized hats.   Old friends. Seriously, these people have known each other a long time... since before the back one (Kael) was born. After church we went down to the dock to do some crabbing.  I guess Eli and I are in charge of dinner tonight? Oh, so cute! Don't fall, the water is cold. Monday was a beach day. Unfortunately this first park, while cute, didn't have a nice beach so we packed back up and headed elsewhere. This is back at Fort Worden State Park. Melissa is cute! Mommy and Melissa enjoying the sun. This kid was a handful.  No wonder there are fewer men than women on the earth.  I imagine many baby men would run into the ocean and never return if given the opportunity .
