Melissa got to meet Hannah a mere 11 hours after she was born. They did have a few seconds together immediately after Hannah was extracted, but Melissa only vaguely remembers it. After a few minutes with Hannah, it was time to meet Finley in the NICU.  By the time we made it to him he had graduated from several of his extra tubes and machines and was soon to move to the intermediate nursery with his sister. Andy receiving training on how to change a girl diaper.  He'd never done it before, but became a master in the next few days.  (Melissa changed one of her children's diapers for the first time the day before they were discharged.)   Nana meets Hannah.  Finley was being moved from NICU to intermediate during this time.   "So tired... who is this?" Andy. It was Hannah.       "What is this thing on his head? Umbilical cord? Babies are weird." Neighbors! Together again! Get used to it, you've got roughly 18 year...

Another year began with finishing Melissa's Christmas present.    This year it was a hanging headboard for our new bed and working on the nursery (at the time I thought we were way ahead of schedule, we were supposed to have 4 months before the kids came). It was a very wet winter so I got to move a lot of snow with the rhino, the Lyman girls rode along for a few minutes. Kati and Copper all bundled up for the snow. Pregnant lady "playing in the snow," while Zoe and the girls dug a snow cave. Melissa braved the snow and ice in the truck to see Nikki at her new house before her daughter came. Then they went to the store together. An important pregnancy milestone, balancing a cup on your giant tummy. 6 months pregnant. Starting to show?
