January 2021 Snow, sledding and Zoe starts to struggle.

It's done! Saturday January 2nd, I moved all the tools back from the new main street rental to the shop.  This photo and my smile signify that renovation is finished.  An hour later we went up to a really good sledding hill on the mountain road with Nikki and Ben Safrit.  "On the mountain road" is the perfect description, considering we just stopped at the top of a hill on the road and sledded down.  Ben brought his 4 wheeler and pulled us back up.  Several sleds were destroyed in the process, but everyone had a good time.  Sun, snow and smiles.  Sunday dinner at Grandma's.  Sometimes, when the kids are in the other room and quiet, they aren't destroying everything.  They played for a solid hour without any fighting.  Bill designed and hand built most of the trusses in his garage addition.  After assembling them and putting them up, the city inspector told him they have to be built with nails, not screws.  So we spent hours ove...

December 2020 Christmas and renovations.

12/1/20 - Starting to put things back together at the new rental. I wasn't the only one working on a remodel.  Melissa was putting some work into the doll house.   12/2/20 - Finley swinging on the rope at gymnastics.  We found this old "house" cutout in the garage, so Hannah painted it to be a manger scene.  Datebox/Happily date. We might have received our last box months ago... but we're slow so we're still enjoying them.  We had a sushi making date.  With the kids.  All 3 are now chop stick champions.  I don't think any of them tried a bite of sushi roll, but they enjoyed avocados and rice. The Halloween pumpkins haven't rotted into oblivion yet. So the kids rolled them around the field... And smashed them in the mud kitchen.
