January 2021 Snow, sledding and Zoe starts to struggle.

It's done! Saturday January 2nd, I moved all the tools back from the new main street rental to the shop.  This photo and my smile signify that renovation is finished.

An hour later we went up to a really good sledding hill on the mountain road with Nikki and Ben Safrit.  "On the mountain road" is the perfect description, considering we just stopped at the top of a hill on the road and sledded down.  Ben brought his 4 wheeler and pulled us back up.

Several sleds were destroyed in the process, but everyone had a good time.

Sun, snow and smiles.

Sunday dinner at Grandma's.  Sometimes, when the kids are in the other room and quiet, they aren't destroying everything.  They played for a solid hour without any fighting.

Bill designed and hand built most of the trusses in his garage addition.  After assembling them and putting them up, the city inspector told him they have to be built with nails, not screws.  So we spent hours over the course of a couple weeks (2-3 hours on each of my days off) adding 6 nails to each side of each plate.  It was a total of ~160 nails per truss.

I found a free baby cone coupon while demoing the rental house and we earned another two during one family lunch.  So I took the kids for ice cream one night while Melissa and Grandma were at the gym. Hannah was actually telling me it was time for a "daddy tax" just as I took this photo.  Sweet girl.

Melissa and I started this clock at least 2 years ago. She finally had the chance to completely redesign this wall in the family room.

Melissa and Grandma went to the Thai restaurant in Monticello and the thrift stores up there for a special mother/daughter day.

Something about spending an afternoon away made Melissa crazy, so she braded Hannah's hair!

Assembly line for our dinner kebabs.  Lilian is managing pulling the skewers out of the water, just to be sure she wasn't touching raw meat and putting fingers in her mouth.  Finley did an awesome job helping put everything together to make a delicious Sunday dinner.

Preschool field trip to visit baby goats.

Riding bikes at the Stake Center, quite the daredevil.

As long as Melissa only uses shaving cream once every few months, it seems to remain one of their favorite activities.

Slimy, yet satisfying.

Snow day!

January 19th, Zoe waiting for Melissa to kick something to chase.

King and queens of the dirt hill.

Getting 3 kids ready for the snow is a lot of work and very messy at the end, but they sure enjoy it.

January 21, Zoe's back legs are wobbly.  She fell while trying to jump in the truck a few days earlier.  We decided to crate her while inside to help her rest. She would go to the vet in the next day or two and he told us to keep her exercising as much as she wanted.  She'll heal while staying active.

New fridge, microwave, overhead storage area, computer desk, dishwasher, paint, lights...

flooring, overhead storage, tub/shower, shelving, toilet. Final pictures January 25th to try to get it listed and rented.

Christmas marble run/building block set.

Matching numbers in mommy pre-preschool.

Making Ariel at new mersuit.

We went to clear snow at the rental and built a snowman, who is wearing my gloves and hat.
