December 2018 Lilian's first Christmas and some family fun.

12/9/18: We decided to be brave this year.  With the twins a little older (2.5 years old) and Lilian still immobile we decided it would be safe to have an unprotected Christmas tree.  It turned out alright, nobody pulled the Christmas tree over.

Hannah decided to bring a friend along as we passed out Christmas gifts to neighbors this year.

12/16/18: Pretty excited for the Christmas season.

This month's "Date Box/Happily" was build gingerbread men and take a picture of them on your dream vacation.  So we sent our cookie-men to England.

12/19/18: The Blanding 7th ward party.  I, for one, am glad that we haven't given in to the few/vocal individuals who are upset that there are treats out on the tables before the dinner is served.  I think it is fun to see the kids go crazy for chocolates.  Robert Ogle cooked his wonderful assortment of flavored hams again this year.  This is one of my favorite ward traditions.

12/21/18: At the Moab Diner, on the way to Nana and Grandad's for Christmas.  Hannah, Lilian and I were there too... not sure why we weren't in the picture.

12/21/18: Well, Melissa broke a tooth. Bit into a muffin, broke a molar.  Really honey?  Goodness sakes.

12/22/18:Granddad with Lilian, so peaceful before heading to the SL temple.

Christmas lights at Temple Square.

Hannah and Finn appreciating the Nativity.

A moment of piece and quiet, before a family wide breakdown.  Literally minutes later we were all done with joy!  Couldn't take another moment of it and needed to head home.

12/23/18: Sunday dinner and a handful of Eaton Mess at Nana's.

12/24/18: Sleeping in a big kid bed, with dad's old blanket.  It is funny to think back to a period in my life when football meant something and I had "a team."  Even though I no longer care at all about football it is still fun to share something, made by Nana, that was special to me with my son.

Christmas Eve bedtime.

Christmas morning!

Happy Christmas!

Penguin pirates game. I'm writing this blog 8/9/20 and these kids still won't play the game according to the rules.  Maybe someday we'll put that ship on the wave and take turns.

We came home 12/26 and the kids got to open their big present.  A dollhouse left by Mike and Linda when we bought our house.

12/28/18, Lilian still looking Christmas-cute.

Just a bunch of happy stinkers.

Chris and Bill arrived in Blanding December 2018. They moved from Covington, WA to retire to a lower cost of living area.  They moved from a 4 bedroom house on 1 acre with a 3 car garage and several out buildings.  They moved in to our 2 bedroom 650 sqft duplex.  That left a little overflow!
