And warming back up after lunch with an exercise program on Youtube.
Hannah lost her tooth! August 9th, after weeks of wiggling, it finally came out. This was the bottom tooth, top was extracted over a year ago.
August 10th Happy birthday Melissa! I was working part day so I made cinnamon rolls and sausage before work, then we had a lunch date and hike.
Chris made a yummy zucchini chocolate cake... look at those candles, so many that the candle light is messing up the exposure.
A few weeks earlier the twins and I walked home from Subway when Melissa took Lilian to a Waterford kick off night. We walked past the theater and asked Clark Hawkins when the next kids movie was coming. He told us Super Pets on a certain day, the kids asked if we could take Melissa for her birthday and I agreed. Then we walked past the bowling alley and asked to take Melissa to that too. Well, they planned her party... and they kept it a secret!
We ended up just signing up the kids for games and shared turns throughout all of us so nobody got too bored.
Grandma and Lilian patiently waiting for a strike?
Hannah and Grandpa lining up for the win!
The next day, Finley had an appointment for a bump on his knee. See the inside side of his right leg (left in the photo). He's growing a bony mass. It is basically his tendon insertion calcifying.
8/12 Andy went on a cultural immersion retreat in Monument Valley. It was all day, we left at 7 AM and I wasn't back until 6 PM. We had a tour of Monument Valley Park and Mystery Valley, with Navajo guides telling us stories about their beliefs of the past.
In this photo our guide is creating a monument from a pile of sand and running water.
This is an arch in Mystery Valley.
Finally we got ready to wrap up Melissa's birthday week with our movie night August 12th at Super Pets
