12/9/18: We decided to be brave this year.  With the twins a little older (2.5 years old) and Lilian still immobile we decided it would be safe to have an unprotected Christmas tree.  It turned out alright, nobody pulled the Christmas tree over.   Hannah decided to bring a friend along as we passed out Christmas gifts to neighbors this year.   12/16/18: Pretty excited for the Christmas season.   This month's "Date Box/Happily" was build gingerbread men and take a picture of them on your dream vacation.  So we sent our cookie-men to England.   12/19/18: The Blanding 7th ward party.  I, for one, am glad that we haven't given in to the few/vocal individuals who are upset that there are treats out on the tables before the dinner is served.  I think it is fun to see the kids go crazy for chocolates.  Robert Ogle cooked his wonderful assortment of flavored hams again this year.  This is one of my favorite ward traditio...

11/2/18: Melissa bought me DateBox for my birthday a while back and every once in a while they were really great.  This one had us painting using water colors. Glad to see the Halloween costumes are still getting used a few days later. What cute Mer-people. 11/9/18: I had a conference in Flagstaff in early November so we decided to make a weekend of it to visit Grandma Flick.  I spent a full day learning about anticoag, while Melissa and the kids had fun playing with Grandma.    Cute girl. 11/10/18: The next day we went out in Uncle Dale's Humvees.  Dale has bought several surplus Humvees and done upgrades and repairs.  We drove some very mild dirt roads, but it was lots of fun.  The kids had a blast. Uncle Dale and his wife Susan and his son Jason and his girlfriend Jessica. Then lots of Dale's kids came over for dinner and game night.  Hannah and Finn had so much fun playing in the backyard with their 2nd cousins....

10/2/18: I guess we aren't fully potty trained yet. Pretty sure this was Finn's, maybe that's why he wasn't so happy about the photo with his first "in the potty." He knew he wasn't going to be an exclusive "in the potty" kind of guy for a long time to come. 10/8/18: Lilian is starting to try solids, aka, spitting stuff on mom at each meal. 10/9/18: Helping to decorate for Halloween. Lilian preparing for Halloween, spooking herself out. 10/13/18: Front half of the unit is getting close to ready.  Tools are all staged in the craft room, getting ready to move back home. 10/20/18: Hitting the mountain for a picnic outing.  Fall in San Juan is wonderful.  It is nice and mild for weeks and weeks.
