For the first time in the history of our blog, we are joined by guest authors Hannah and Finley. They will be contributing some of the photo captions.

12/20 - It doesn't matter what time of year, it is always princess time.
Hannah dressed up her rocking horses, too.

Melissa and Lilian, make me look good.

12/24 - This year we did something new, Christmas Digestive Biscuits. We used an English digestive biscuit recipe to make some Christmas cookies for Grandma Flick. That was her favorite treat during our time in the UK together.

For Christmas Eve with Grandma and Grandpa Workman we decided to have a Bethlehem dinner. We ate finger foods and simple things they might have had in Christ's day.
And the kids got to eat in Grandma's living room, while watching a show.
It was such a fun night that it earned Grandma some Lilian snuggles.
And Grandpa fell asleep.
12/25 - Our blessed children slept until after 8:30 on Christmas morning.

Let the carnage begin! Finley got a new excavator and semi truck set.
Hannah received a set of 6 princess dolls. These were off-brand dolls we picked up at a gas station on our way through Oregon in October. Hannah saw them during a potty break and loved them, so we tried to hide them... but she saw them in the back of the van and talked about them for the next couple months waiting for Christmas. She still loved them, even knowing they were coming.
Lilian received a string of wooden farm animals and barn. Not sure how much she liked them, but Finley loved playing with the yellow rope.
My Christmas present is a happy family.

Grandma and Grandpa Workman came to spend a portion of the day, you can see his new snow shovel (I received a matching one) on the right. Leave it to the dad's to receive work for Christmas.
"Whoa, that's a big mess!" says Finster.
Uncle Andrew gave us a new magnet puzzle game for Christmas and Grandpa was a master! He won almost every round.
12/26 - The kids love warmly bundled short adventures in the snow.
However, they love bringing it inside even more.
"Zoe is covered in snow and mommy too," Hannah and Finn.
"Lilian is reading a book," said Finley. She received it for Christmas.
"Finley and daddy are clearing the driveway for Grandma and Grandpa to be safe when visiting," says Hannah.
