November 2020 Uncle Andrew came to visit on his way to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving... and we bought a house!

Just regular old "Sunday cute," not!  This was our first day back to in-person church due to COVID-19.  November 1st.

Melissa and the kids went to collect leaves from an older couple in our ward, we used them to provide cover in the garden.

We had a family move out of the big side of the duplex, so we rushed to get things back to rentable.  New floors (the vinyl plank we put in was horrible), new sinks in the bathrooms (renters melted them, dumb trailer house plastic sinks) and general touch ups.

Matchy, matchy.

Getting rid of a pile of pallets.

Melissa turned a pair of old baby pants into baby doll pants.  This poor guy didn't have any clothes for a long time.

Hot dog roast! I love fall weather.

Another "Sunday Cute," not!  This was the day we got released from the Bishopric.  November 15th.  Now I get to sit with my kids at church.

We closed on the new rental on Main Street, the Love Shack. Small house, good for newly weds... not the town hook up spot for extra marital affairs.  At least that's the story we've heard from Blanding locals. Finn went right to work with me, pulling up the old laminate wood in the livingroom. He was an awesome helper on this project.

Once Finn had finished the wood, I started on the brick.  At some point in the past there was a wood burning stove.  When we bought it, there was an unvented open flame NG fireplace.  It was the only heat in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. Not a good solution.

School pictures.

Hiking and offroading with Uncle Andrew.  He got a job, fulltime, for Boeing in Oklahoma. So he moved from Washington, by way of Blanding on Thanksgiving weekend.

Hiking selfie.

We hiked with Grandma too.

Thanksgiving day turned into a game of pass the turkey leg.

Taking full advantage of "Take two bites, then give it to your sister."

Happy Thanksgiving!

My turn!

Holiday is over, back to work!. The kids decided that fingers are way faster than brushes.  Latex paint is also quite irritating when applied to this much of your hands and arms.  Good thing this room didn't have any flooring yet.

Work is over, back to play.  We are playing Chronology with Jeremy and Trisha over google meets.
Andrew headed out the next morning.

Ok, the Sunday after Thanksgiving is officially the Christmas season.

The kids loved being part of decorating the tree this year.

Merry Christmas, almost.
