October 2021 Final bit. Halloween activities.

Melissa missed her kitties, so she was happy to have purring snuggles again.

Melissa is keeping up the tradition of family costumes displaying her craftiness.  This year we are from Disney's Moana (using movies that are a few years old also seems to be a family tradition).

Grandpa Jack likes to rake the lawn almost every day during the fall.   Once he had a truck full, he called Melissa and took the kids out to dump them.

Everyone had fun in the leaf pile.

Family Halloween started on Thursday the 28th at the USU trunk or treat. No carnival this year, just a quick walk through the parking lot.

Friday we painted/carved out pumpkins.  Hannah's Heihei chicken.

Lilian's Kakamora (coconut warriors), Melissa might have helped a little.

Finley's Tamatoa. Dad drew Hannah and Finn's outlines and helped them focus on color placement.

Melissa's Heart of Te Fiti.

Scary face, holding a jack o' lantern.

Looking good!

Thanks for taking our picture Rob and Valerie Turk.  Finley loves showing off his crab shell.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Jack. Happy Halloween.

Halloween was on a Sunday this year.  So I made crumpets!  You know... quite traditional.  Lilian is showing Nana her crumpet. Quite an enjoyable way to move butter and jam into your face, I'll make these again.

We had a Halloween spook dinner for Sunday dinner.  Sausage roll snake, Mummy stuffed peppers, roasted cauliflower brain, Grandma's candy corn jello cups.

We had a decorating contest with the cookie kits we received in Nashville.  The kids won 1st prize in "most frosting on a cookie"

Grandma and Grandpa won, "actually looks like a pumpkin"
Happy October!  It was a busy month.
