September 2019 Labor Day visits, Bum Surgery, Camping with truck problems, etc.

Grandpa and Grandma Aurich came to visit for Labor Day.

So the twins attacked Grandpa with giant burritos.

9/2 - We went to visit one of the reservoirs.

Cruising in the Rhino with Grandma.

Labor day BBQ.

9/5 - Finley had a hypopigmented Blue Nevus on his bottom.  Melissa had been watching it for a few years now and realized it was getting bigger.  It was bothering him, itchy.  He had it biopsied in town, but the boarders were unclear.  So we went to the UofU to have the rest removed under sedation. He put up with the procedure very well.

The first thing he said when he woke up, which he did earlier than expected was, "where are my Paw Patrol Fruit Snacks?"  We gave him a bag of them before, while he was fasting until almost 4 PM, and told him he could eat them as soon as it was done. He was awake before even arriving in the recovery area.  The nurses said they'd never seen a kid awake that quickly. We've always known Finley is really good at "being awake."

We spent a few days at Nana and Grandad's.

9/7 - The kids got pretty excited to see a whole deer family in the yard before breakfast one day.

9/13 - Then we decided to go camping.  We went up below Dry Wash.  Took the trailer, 4 wheeler in the bed and Melissa drove the Rhino.  We dropped the trailer, then as I went to unload the 4 wheeler in a clear spot, I some how ripped the wire harness off the transmission and dumped the fluid.

We had the truck towed to Montella's in town, they weren't supper happy about getting their flatbed to the area, but we enjoyed the camp with friends.

Hannah had fun getting dirty.

The Stevens came to ride 4 wheelers and have dinner.

The Lyman's spent the night and did plenty of riding.

And lounging.

Bill and Chris came to rescue the trailer the next day and they came for breakfast.

9/18 - Not sure why the photo shoot, but they look cute. Melissa just told me it was red day at preschool.

Mommy and daughter night at church with Sister Elida Numbers

And with Grandma.
Finley and I took Grandpa Workman to dinner at Homestead for boys night.

Somebody's teething and chewing is the only way to make it feel better.

Off to the dino museum with the Workman's

We received these silly suckers for Christmas from Aunt Belle and Uncle Jon. It was finally time to bust them out.

9/30 - And to bring the month to a close, stickers from Aunt Trisha arrived to get helmets ready for bike riding.  Also, somewhere in here I turned 36. I guess it wasn't too memorable.
