December 2022 Part 2. Christmas in Lindon and in Blanding.

12/19 We got Nana and Grandad a Christmas in the barn puzzle.  Animals with Christmas decorations.  The trouble was, it was randomly covered with patches of glitter. The picture on the box didn't have glitter though, so you couldn't use the box much. It was fun challenge

12/20 - Our Lindon Christmas morning.  Nana made a good Christmas breakfast with cinnamon rolls, sausage and eggs.  Then we opened presents.  I played a silly box-in-a-box gift for everyone from grandad through to Lily.  It ended up as a trip to the Ice Castles in January.  See you in a month.

The kids all received building sets and headed straight to the table to build.

After lunch we headed home, back to work and soon another Christmas celebration.

Melissa crotched bookmarks for each of her students are church, her sisters-in-law, and her friends.

12/23 - Lilian and Hannah both came down with stomach flu. They were up all night 12/22-23.  Melissa "slept" on Lilian's bed with her and I was on a pad in Hannah's doorway. It was a miracle that Finn didn't get sick or wake up through countless episodes of retching and flushing.

12/24 - The next day the girls were pretty much well again.  So we went to Grandma and Grandpa Workman's for Christmas Eve dinner and graham houses.

Grandma even used fruit roll ups to cut out colorful clothing for little cookie people.

Lily and I used a set Uncle Jon and Aunt Belle gave us for Christmas.  Having pre-cut pieces and an internal plastic brace was helpful for 4 year old hands.

12/25 - Christmas was on a Sunday this year.  So we opened stockings and sibling presents before Church.

Getting ready to head to an earlier than normal sacrament meeting.  Looking good, but not super excited to delay presents.

Grandma and Grandpa came for a quick visit

Family received inflatable ring toss.

After Christmas dinner.

12/27 - Finn working on his kicks on his first day of Muay Thai.

12/ 28 - This winter is getting to be quite snowy...

and Finn couldn't be happier.  Using his new snow shaping tools from Grandpa and Grandma Aurich.

The cats have gotten so grungy. Long hair and lots of snow are not mixing well.

12/30 - This girl is a little more "indoorsy"
