6/5-6/6 The End Goodbye Scotland and Ireland.

The morning of June 5th we got dressed in our best plaid and headed to the airport.  Scotland had taken a toll on Melissa, but she was still happy.

The flight was a bit interesting.  It wasn't terribly early (around 9 AM) and the plane was full.  The flight from Glasgow to Dublin is cheap (~35 Euro) and short (~1 hour).  We chatted during the flight and Melissa scratched my head, because that is the best thing ever.  There were a bunch of Scottish providers from "Doctors without Borders" flying to Dublin for a weekend training, and they were loud. They were swearing up a storm and they all complained of queueing at WC. It seems they had been drinking already and were quite full.

Stripy shirt was sitting directly behind me.  He and his buddies thought Melissa and I were just adorable, must be newlyweds, and he decided to help out and gave me a little head scratch while we were landing.

Melissa and I love Ireland, but we didn't have much fun in Dublin last time and we were tired at the end of the trip.  We decided to take a nap after the flight and then wander around Swords (north of Dublin, where our hotel was).  We walked around and visited some shops in a major shopping area (think State Street in Orem, UT Center Street to 800 S).  The only place that didn't cost an arm and a leg for food was... McDonald's.  The food was much better than in USA and inside the restaurant they have a separate sales counter called the café. They sold fresh pastries, on real stone wear plates! The strangest part is that we've probably eaten at McDonald's twice in the 4 years we've been married, and once was in Ireland.

Leave it to Ireland, in the airport hotel district of the capital you can still open the window and see a field.

6/6/16
We all flew to Atlanta together and after a couple hours layover Janell left us.

Goodbye Europe buddies.

Then we all flew home to Utah. It should have been time to start planning the next trip... but Melissa had something else in mind. She wanted to get started on THESE!
